The first day in Paris_ Dec/6/2013

Darrin and I flew to Paris for our fun holiday!

Grand Hotel Francais
Adderss: 223 Boulevard Voltaire, Paris 75011

We checked in Grand Hotel Francais.  It wasn't fancy and roomy, but clean and cozy enough.  And its location was fantastic, which is the key reason we picked this hotel.   There were two different Metro stations very near the hotel and pretty decent sized outdoor market within walking distance.

ps. The picture above focused on the guys passing by me, and I am kind of a part of the background or whatever.

Tada!
The first meal we had in Paris was Korean BBQ.  ^ε^

The Korean BBQ restaurant was surprisingly located close to the main street of Champs Elysees.  After dinner, we enjoyed walking around the street which was beautifully covered in sparkling lights.

At late night in Metro Saint Philippe Du Roule

Metro in Paris has a wide connection to go all over the places in town- total 19 lines including 5 different RER lines so far- plus, it's pretty safe and functional as well.  We used a day pass which has an unlimited number of boardings.   But one thing negative about it is most of platforms stinks to high heaven with urine smell due to no toilets in Metro at all.  (Except for that, I still love U -_-ㆀ)
