it's been a while to read english poem since school days. i wasn't a big fan of poetry, even i studied literature in university. some poems in this book is quite interesting and inspiring, like entitled 'taxing the rain' written by shuttle:

looking at these pictures still makes me laugh a lot. their reaction to this activity were entirely unexpected.
she's tenaciously clinging onto the ladder for a long time, coz her legs were freezing. she's stuck in the air, ha ha. finally, the instructor ended up grabbing her safety belt to move her out to the other side.
she totally freaked out and ended up crying hard.

... finally they look relaxed getting out of such a panicky activity for them. ;)

yah, those are what i made recently. i mainly use a paper clay for their face, body structure and dress, and acrylic paint for a pattern on their outfit.

those are my plants in the side yard. it's not easy to maintain them being healthy, but darrin and i still enjoy learning how to take of the garden.
